Technical Information

Our purpose built production facility is fully-integrated from feed mills, hatchery and farms through to slaughtering, cutting and production. Riverside Foods only ever use a single source supply. Products are handled in one factory alone and have traceability from the farm to the fork.

All our products are IQF (individually quick frozen) using in-line gyro freezing technology.

HACCP practices are strictly adhered to and all finished products are pre-cooked and verified to be non-GM.

The EU approved production facility is accredited to meet IFS (International Food Standard) and BRC (British Retail Consortium) standards through the use of an established positive release system.

Riverside’s products are produced at Koka d.d. in Croatia.  The factory in Croatia is IFS, BRC and Halal accredited.

Riverside are also certified and licensed by Coeliac UK to carry the internationally recognised Crossed Grain symbol under licence number GB 071.

All products undergo full analysis to ensure compliance to customer specifications.
