Cheers to National Lager Day: Elevate Your Chicken Game

As we raise our glasses to celebrate National Lager Day (December 10), why not take the festivities up a notch by pairing your favourite brew with some mouth-watering chicken dishes? Lager isn’t just for toasting; it’s the secret ingredient to elevate your culinary adventures.

Pairing Tips:

  • Crisp and light lagers complement the freshness of grilled chicken, enhancing the overall experience.  Rich and malty lagers work wonders with heartier chicken dishes, adding depth and complexity to the flavour profile.
  • This National Lager Day, let the golden nectar of lager inspire your culinary creativity. Whether you’re a beer enthusiast or a food lover, combining lager with your chicken dishes is a surefire way to create a memorable and delicious celebration. So, clink those glasses, savour the moments, and let the Lager Day festivities begin! 🍺🍽️ #LagerDayFeast #ChickenAndBeer #CheersToFlavour 🎉🐔

Chef’s tip: choose your lager carefully. Perhaps you have a beer on-tap at your restaurant that you would like to promote?

  • Place all ingredients inside a mixing bowl and stir together to distribute evenly. Place in the refrigerator ideally overnight, but at a minimum of three hours.
  • When ready to cook, remove chicken from marinade and place on preheated grill or skillet.
  • Cook 5 minutes on each side until internal temperature reaches thermometer registers 75˚C.  Serve immediately.
